Second, the online test delivery models that did exist were out of date, incapable of functioning in multiple environments, and too inflexible to adapt to the current realities of the market. The SWAT system solves these problems by administering tests using a Java applet that is totally secure, and which functions in all major network environments. Can I design my own tests using the SWAT system?
Yes. SWAT Scribe is Testengine.com's online test development tool. Using SWAT Scribe, you can design, view, edit, and administer testing and training to virtually any number of subjects. Our intuitive interface makes it easy for you to develop tests that meet your specific needs, whether they are simple, or highly complex. With SWAT Scribe, you can examine the structure of your test, view each category, and see exactly what the final product will look like before it is administered.
Can SWAT perform advanced statistical analysis?
Absolutely. The SWAT system employs a revolutionary data analysis tool called SWAT Sage. Each time a test is administered, SWAT Sage records any and all pertinent data, including exactly which questions were administered, what responses were received from the subject, and the subject's total score. The system can then statistically determine whether or not any questions are redundant, or not clearly representative of the knowledge being tested.
As an additional service, Testengine.com can correlate the responses you receive on your tests with the future performance of your test subjects. What's so great about the SWAT delivery system?
We do things that our competitors don't, and probably can't. Our system allows us to enforce timing on a per-question and per-test level. The entire test is downloaded to the examinee before starting, allowing it to continue running even through a temporary Internet disconnect. Cheating is difficult due to our test development guidelines, and our unique applet-based exam delivery.
